- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist.
- Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Hold an active BLS and CA license
- Schedule Information
- Shifts: 4 10 hr shifts for PT 7am-5:30pm
- Weekend Requirement: will work every 3rd weekend
- Holidays: work into perm staff rotation for all modalities
- Additional Details
- BLS required
- COVID Vaccine Required (Certification)
- Unit: Rehab (PT, OT, & Speech)
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Manager on days available (M-F) - Stan
- Nurse Aides: PT aides - usually one on Sun, mon, tues, 2 on wed-sat
- Floating: No floating
- Floor specific orientation: 8 hours of orientation for all modalities
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: PT - cardiac, stroke (facility is stroke certified), ortho, ICU, neuro, medsurg primarily, they have a pediatrics ward that is low volume case load, also neonatal ICU, travelers not required to work NICU and are not required to have exp with NICU or pediatrics.
- Additional Notes: staff for PT is covered 7 days a week. PT has team leader when Stan is not there.
- Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in specialty, must have at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience, open to first time travelers.
