As of 1/1/2018 all NM Respiratory Therapists must have their NM RRT Licensure
If a candidate had a NM CRT that was obtained prior to 1/1/2018 the facility is able to accept their
1+ years of experience required
New Mexico Respiratory Therapist License required
Neonatal experience required
(AHA) BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required
First time travelers accepted
Pending license not accepted
RTO must be included with the submittal

The Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for administering respiratory and pulmonary treatments and testing. S/he administers oxygen and nebulizer treatments, performs stress testing, and schedules outpatient tests
