Travel Specialist

We are looking to hire an experienced Travel Specialist to support our New York team with vendor management and day-to-day travel operations to and from our global offices. 

You will oversee the booking process for our New York-based employees to ensure they follow travel guidelines, and collaborate with teams across the firm to provide a smooth and efficient experience. You will also work closely with our travel management company as part of the booking process and troubleshoot operational issues that may arise.

Beyond managing logistics, you will help maintain travel resource documents and webpages, develop standard operating procedures, manage expenses, and analyze our travel spend.

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Hospitality or a related field
• 3-5 years relevant work experience in a corporate, travel, or hospitality environment (previous experience in a travel booker-type role is preferred)
• Experienced with G Suite and Excel
• Exceptional customer service attitude; willing to be proactive, engage with others, and help with a variety of often competing requests
• Reliable and flexible team player with strong organizational skills; detail-oriented
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions quickly; can take initiative to follow through and resolve outstanding issues
• Analytical thinker with strong writing and people skills
• Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include after-hours monitoring of world events and weather issues that could impact travel
• Familiarity with Workday, Jira, and Concur are a plus
• Fluency in English required
