- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Speech Therapist for a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have 3+ years of experience and at least 2 years of Acute Care or/and Inpatient Rehab.
- Job Requirements
- Hold an active BLS and CA license.
- 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Must have 2 years of acute experience.
- Experience with ortho, neuro, and cardiac is required.
- ICU experience preferred.
- Schedule Information
- 8 hr shifts, hours are varied, starting at 6:30am with a 30 min lunch break.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday or Sunday, 2 weekend days in a 4 week schedule.
- Schedule made by staffing captain.
- Unit Specific Information
- Float between units of hospital and to acute rehab.
- 1 day hospital orientation and then 2-3 days of unit orientation.
- Additional Details
- BLS, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification).
- Unit: Rehab Therapies, Cardiac Rehab.
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: spinal cord injuries, TBI, stroke, cardiac rehab, ortho, etc.
- Spanish speaking candidates preferred.
