General Information:

Imaging Rooms: 7 rooms can accommodate Echo

Minimum experience required: 1 year

Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes

Patient Population/Common Scans:

Patient population: Adult only; Inpatient and Outpatient

Routine scans: Structural heart - mostly cardiac Echos to include TEE and Stress Tests

Average # of Patients Seen per Day:

Inpatient/Outpatient: 60-70

Required Certifications:

BLS required

ARDMS required

CCI-RCS (preferred)

Is ME State Licensure required? No

Skills required:

Discussed during interview

Support on the Unit:

Echo Supervisor – works within department

6-9 additional sonographers within department

Physician support – 7 Cardiologists
