Now Hiring Traveling – Apprentice Commercial Plumbers Iron Horse Companies LLC/ Pipe Tek Inc. is seekingApprentice Commercial Plumbersto join our team inSan Jose, CA. We specialize incommercial new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels. The role requirestravel (north California & South California, for which Iron Horse Companies, LLC will provide airfare, lodging (if necessary), and a per diem, depending on the location Key Responsibilities: • Assist with theinstallation and layoutof cast iron, PVC, and ABS sewer, vent, and roof drain piping. • Help installcopper, CPVC, and PEXwater distribution piping. • Support thethreading, layout, and installationof steel gas piping. • Work alongside experienced plumbers toassemble, install, and start upvarious plumbing fixtures, equipment, and components. • Read and interpretblueprints, plans, and manualsunder supervision. • Ensure all work meetsfederal, state, and local plumbing codes. • Keep work areasclean and organizedafter job completion. • Maintainprofessionalism and customer servicewhile on-site and when using company vehicles. • FollowOSHA safety regulationsand company policies. Qualifications: • Minimum2+ yearsof commercial plumbing experience. • High school diploma orGED required. • Activeplumbing license preferred. • Willingness to learn andstrong attention to detail. • Ability towork as part of a teamand take direction from journeymen and supervisors. • Reliable transportation required. Required Tools: • Basic hand tools, includingwrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and hammers. • Cordlessdrill, Sawzall, and impact driver. • Pipe wrenches, torque wrench, and Allen wrench set.
