Traveling Wireless Network Engineer- Candidates must be located in the Atlanta, GA area.

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Traveling Wireless Network Engineer. This is a 6-month W2 contract that has the possibility to extend longer and/or convert to a permanent hire. These positions main responsibilities will be to travel regionally and throughout the US, to manage the day to day maintenance and administration of our client's current environment, in addition to performing site surveys and plan Access Point layouts for new locationsspaces. Highlights:

Title: Traveling Wireless Network Engineer

• Must be able to travel up to 75% during the week - will be home on weekends and will work remotely when not traveling.

Job Location: Traveling, though candidates must reside in the Atlanta GA area

Duration: 6 month W2 contract with possiblity of extending and/or converting long term.

Pay: Dependent on experience, though in the realms of $75.00 to $90.00 an hour.

Qualifications: Due to the nature of our client this position will require proof of US citizenship. Also must be able to pass extensive background check, credit check (no major delinquencies or bankruptcy), and drug screening upon formal offer.

Responsibilities:

The overall objectives of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage the day to day maintenance & administration of the Cisco based wireless network environment.
• Assist with troubleshooting of wireless access issues.
• Assist with other Route/Switch initiatives as needed.

Qualifications/Must Haves:

• At lease 5 years of Networking experience including Cisco Wireless & R/S.
• CCNACCNP certifications are preferred.
• Strong understanding of protocols and technologies including, but not limited to: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through an issue from start to finish. Including working with TAC, External Support Engineers, carriers, etc.
• Strong understanding of Cisco Wireless controllers, access points, etc
• Good understanding of Cisco ISE
• Good understanding of Cisco Anyconnect.
• Wireless site surveys
• Experience with Windows 10 as it relates to troubleshooting OS based wireless networking issues.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals
• Good understanding of and ability to follow the change management process and best practices.
• Good communication skills, both oral & written.
• Ability to work with multiple teams dispersed across multiple locations
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Relevant CiscoIndustry certifications are a plus.
• Experience with network sniffers like Wireshark are a plus
• Manufacturing experience would be a plus.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
