Job Responsibilities

Summary

Performs the Pipe Fitter activities listed below on their own with little to no guidance or assistance in a machine tool manufacturing environment. Follow projects to customer locations on Field Service assignments and stay through completion of power on. Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to other Pipe Fitters supporting Field Service work. Aligns with Engineering and Design colleagues surrounding status of work and alterations to be made.

Pipe Fitter Activities

• Able to read schematic drawings
• Build headers
• Thread pipe
• Install headers
• Install service stands and lockout valves
• Pipe robots
• Pipe sealer equipment
• Pipe Tools
• Read mechanical drawings and bill of material
• Prep valve pack and manifold
• Run hose and dress tool per customer requirements
• Ability to drill, tap and ream holes
• Use of hand saw, drill press and grinders

Do you have what it takes?

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• 5+ years of job experience or equivalent
• Completion of technical school training preferred
• Licensing as a qualified Pipe Fitter preferred
• Experience leading teams preferred
