Our Treasury accounting team is responsible for checking, accounting and recording all business transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting). We resolve various ongoing accounting and reporting challenges in our ERP systems SAP and Microsoft Dynamics in cooperation with various internal stakeholders. We support month-end processes, financial reporting, and our upcoming audits.
Job Description
As a Treasury Accountant (m/f/d), you are responsible for all accounting processes of ABOUT YOU Group. Your work is very process-oriented and constantly keeps an eye on optimization potential. Furthermore, you are not afraid to get involved in other areas of the Treasury and to develop yourself professionally.
- You are responsible for processing bank statement
- You ensure that account reconciliation and open position balancing are carried out, investigating and resolving discrepancies if needed
- You process guarantees and intra-group loans and loans to related parties
- You create weekly payment runs
- You are responsible for month-end closing process
- You support the preparation of the annual financial statements according to IFRS by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- You ensure correct accounting treatment of executed FX hedges
- You are responsible for AWV reporting to Deutsche Bundesbank
- You take a key role in the implementation of the new ERP system
- You are in constant communication with the internal teams, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
- You identify optimization potentials in process handling and assurance quality of all accounting processes
- You are the contact person for our stakeholders
Qualifications
- You have a completed training as an Accountant or comparable university degree
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience in Accounting area, preferably in Treasury
- You have good knowledge of SAP 4 Hana and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Software
- You have very good analytical skills, working with Microsoft tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Ideally, you have experience in the ERP system implementation
- You have good communication skills and are fluent in English (essential) and German (preferred)
Additional Information
The team is located in the Hamburg office with a possibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
