Blackstone Treasury Finance
The Treasury Finance team sits within the Expense & Treasury Accounting (ETA) team of the Corporate Accounting & Finance organization. The team is responsible for the accounting & financial reporting of Treasury's cash management, investing, funding, liquidity, hedging, and intercompany activities, as well as Accounts Receivable invoicing & cash collection for management fees and deal expenses.
The team interacts with a wide range of business partners both internally & externally on topics ranging from financial planning & analysis, reconciliations, complex capital markets transactions, SEC and regulatory external reporting disclosures, hedging, financial instrument valuation, and investment portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Oversight & control of day-to-day accounting and reporting for Treasury cash and investment activities
- Monitoring of domestic foreign currency exposure and coordinating with the Global Middle Office and accounting teams to ensure the risk is appropriately hedged
- Closely collaborating with the Global Middle Office team in reviewing total treasury activity and providing continuous forecasting for senior management
- Month end journal entries & account reconciliations
- SEC & regulatory reporting in support of the quarterly close process
- Enhancement, development, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of the accounting module of the Treasury management system (ION Wall Street Suite)
- Reviewing intercompany activity and effectively communicating with controllers of all businesses to ensure the appropriate monitoring of balances
- Liaising with internal and external auditors to ensure that annual consolidated and standalone audits are completed accurately & timely
- Participating in, and leading, adhoc projects as they arise
- Working with the internal innovations and technology teams to create efficiencies
- Serving as a coach and mentor to members of the team
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of treasury accounting experience or relevant industry experience
- An intellectual curiosity - is someone who speaks up, asks questions, and confidently shares their point of view
- Thrives working both independently & collaboratively with peers & business partners spread out in multiple locations & time zones
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Aptitude for financial systems/software -- experience with Oracle and ION Wallstreet Suite a plus
- Experience in the preparation of financial schedules and SEC filings
- Product knowledge across fixed income, equities and derivatives a plus
- CPA or equivalent certification

Expected annual base salary range:
$115,000 - $170,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
