A Brief Overview

Maintains the operational aspect of SHC's cash, debt and investments programs.

What you will do

  • 1. Performs a variety of analytical and reporting duties in support Treasury Services
  • 2. Assist with investment portfolio management; including:

    -Daily management of investment portfolios including working with external investment managers, investment consultant, custodian banks, and other vendors.

    -Enhance reporting to provide insights into SHC investment portfolio performance.
  • 3. Assist with Cash Operations; including:

    -Daily cash position of entities.

    -Timely payment of all EFT requests.

    -Maintenance of Treasury Management System ("Reval") and supports the accounting team as it relates to cash, investments and related accounts.

    -Supports the rollout of new initiatives in the cash management, cash forecasting, merchant processing, and reporting

    -Assist with creating and maintaining the cash flow forecast for SHC and all its entities
  • 4. Carries out debt operations, including:

    -Timely payment of debt service and collateral posting.

    -Timely payment of all administrative invoices related to the debt program (rating agencies, trustees, remarketing agents)

    -Monitoring of project funds and process construction draws or requisitions

    -Preparation of Letter of credit applications

    -Participation in debt issuances and preparation of materials for governmental agencies and other parties
  • 5. Provides audit, internal compliance and due diligence support.
  • 6. Develops and maintains financial models and materials for meetings and presentations to interested financial parties, board of directors and the executive management team.
  • 7. Cross-trains on other aspects of Treasury Services and provides back-up to these functions when needed.
  • 8. Assist with various projects as needed.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as Business Administration or Finance required.

Experience Qualifications

  • Two (2) years minimum of directly related work experience required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of cash management, banking and merchant processing services
  • Understanding of fixed income finance, interest rate derivatives and lease contracts
  • Understanding of investment instruments and familiarity with alternative investments
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, dependability, and flexibility.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and stay focused on key deliverables when unexpected challenges arise
  • Willing to adapt quickly to changes in direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop financial analyses.
  • Ability to effectively express ideas in both written and oral form.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively as team player.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $44.16 - $57.40 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
