Position Description/Overview

AZZ has an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst at our Fort Worth Texas corporate office. Reporting into the Assistant Treasurer/Treasury Manager you will support day to day treasury management activities such as bank relationship management, cash accounting, letter of credit requests, and payments. You are number savvy and will analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide information for strategic financial decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages daily, weekly, and monthly cash management position.
• Maintains account balances, cash forecasts, debt schedules, and monthly account analysis schedules.
• Generates daily and monthly reports.
• Evaluates the organizations cash needs to ensure all funding needs are met.
• Prepares documentation as needed for new bank accounts, know your customer (KYC) forms, and other bank related forms.
• Assist with Insurance applications, special reports for brokers/underwriters.
• Researches and resolves issues regarding bank outflows and inflows, and monitors accounts for possible fraud activity.
• Communicates with business operations and banks regarding bank activity.
• Supports Assistant Treasurer/Treasury Manager in maintenance and opening/closing of all bank accounts across the organization.
• Supports activity for AZZ Cares (not for profit foundation) as needed.
• Assists with other treasury functions and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Accounting, Treasury or Finance preferred
• Knowledge of principles and practices of accounting and auditing required
• Excellent written and oral communication for both internal and external engagement
• Experience working in Bank Portals preferred
• Experience performing statistical analysis preferred
• Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently at times

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's degree required
• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Combination of education and relative experience may be considered
