Treasury Analyst

As a key accounting team member, the Accounting Analyst will support the month-end close process, as well as ongoing and frequently occurring processes within accounting operations. Our Accounting Operations team holds responsibility for treasury, accounts payable, payroll, and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate is ambitious, curious, motivated and detail oriented. This role reports to the Director of Accounting Operations and will perform daily accounting operations processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the transactional areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and treasury. This role requires a strong foundation in general accounting principles and the frequent transaction-level activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analysis 
• Regular and frequent reconciliation of payments and receipts against bank account activity
• Maintain supporting schedules for various assigned accounts, and assist with discrepancy resolutions and other research
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to reduce manual effort
• Assist in the design and implementation of internal controls
• Ensure compliance with internal controls is documented
• Provide support for internal and external audits related to specific areas of responsibility
• Support the Director of Accounting Operations and accounting operations team in additional ad-hoc projects, including research, analysis, and reporting, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• CPA license preferred
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, especially in the areas of treasury, accounts payable, payroll, and accounts receivable
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and financial accounting fundamentals 
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, deadline-oriented, having a keen attention to detail, and ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely fashion, independently, and with minimal supervision
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Experience with Salesforce preferred

This position pays a minimum base salary of $69,000 + Bonus/Commissions + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
