Summary:

The Treasury Analyst is a key member of the GAF Finance team focused on the performance of the daily operations of the treasury function as well as the development of financial analysis that helps drive the business toward meeting its short and long-term strategic goals.

Essential Duties:

• Execute daily Treasury Operations functions including accurate and timely reconciliation of the daily cash position and periodic reporting of cash balances to the Standard Industries Treasurer.
• Manage the Company Credit Card Program to ensure effective use of cards and the maximization of the Company Rebate.
• Develops short and long-term cash and liquidity forecasts to facilitate decision-making around cash positioning, financing/leverage, and investment opportunities.
• Supports the Standard Industries Treasury function as needed with the management of banking relationships, covenant compliance, and ABL reporting.
• Assist in the compilation and delivery of monthly KPIs including a continual assessment of whether the reported KPIs and their respective targets are appropriately aligned with current business objectives.
• Identifies areas where performance metrics are below target and works with the respective functional groups to analyze drivers of that underperformance and develop strategies for improvement.
• Key analytical resource for the assessment of various initiatives including Business Case Analysis, Financial Return Modeling, SG&A, and other projects as required by management.
• Assist in collaboration efforts between the Accounting and Finance teams to drive continual process improvements and efficiencies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration
• 2 or more years relevant business experience required

• Familiarity with financial statement analysis is a plus
• Basic knowledge of corporate financial analysis/accounting functions
• Intermediate skills related to analytical systems (Microsoft Excel, Tableau, etc.)
• Intermediate skills of application and analytical concepts

• Intermediate problem-solving skills
• Intermediate organizational skills and attention to detail
