Treasury Analyst
Job Description
- Provides overall support and assistance in managing the Treasury functions for the Corporation including the areas of interest rate risk, securities portfolio management, liquidity and capital management.
- Monitors the Federal Reserve Account and the Bank's cash position on a daily basis to determine funding needs.
- Assists in the preparation of agenda and materials for ALCO committee meetings.
- Gather/Process data for Federal Reserve FR2900 for reporting deposit levels and FR2644 Weekly Report of Selected Assets and Liabilities.
- Assist with the Fedline administration.
- Monitors bank liquidity and provides cash tracking and forecasts.
- Preforms credit analysis on municipalities and correspondent banks.
- Provides support for management of the banks securities portfolio and related accounting.
- Reconciles Due from Bank Accounts and Federal Home Loan Bank and performs other reconciliations as needed.
- Accounts for Interest Rate SWAPS and other derivatives instruments.
- Provides backup support for the Call Report, FRY-9C and FRY-9LP reporting.
- Assists in the development of Interest rate risk analysis and modeling as well as related analysis and forecasting.
- Assists in managing municipal deposits, related pricing and collateral tracking.
- Assists in developing financial forecasts, budgets and other modeling as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting or related field
- A minimum of five years of directly related credit and treasury function experience in financial services
- General knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency in gathering, interpreting, analyzing and reporting financial information
- Proficient interpersonal skills in dealing with clients and all levels of management
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Salary Range $55,380 to $70,000 annually
Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education and, where applicable, licenses or certifications obtained.
