Treasury Analyst

Description

SUMMARY

The Treasury Analyst will work closely with our managers to maintain controls over vendor payments and ensure timeliness of information surrounding treasury function including cash disbursements and debt balances.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist in the handing of cash management operations
• Assist in account administration, documenting and implementing improvements in cash management
• Ensure compliance with treasury management policies and procedures
• Complete cash management documentation of different department and cost centers
• Assist in the preparation of the reports and proposals for cash management improvement
• Preparation of monthly cash reconciliations
• Preparation of forecast and monitoring cash flows weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
• Prepare cash flow reports for management to use in identifying and evaluating variances and using these reports to forecast timing and amount of future cash flows
• Assist in the weekly cash disbursement process as a cash manager
• Monitoring of an inbox for general questions related to the monthly close
• Ensure proper retention and organization of the financial transactions and records

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum of three years' work experience in a financial or accounting environment
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong general accounting skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Works well both independently and in a team environment
