Position Description

The Treasury Associate reports to the Treasury Manager, and supports daily global cash management functions for Zayo Group, including cash positioning, payment processing, reporting and bank account and bank portal user maintenance. They update global cash flow forecasts, calculate leverage metrics, prepare ad-hoc analyses and contribute to special projects. The Treasury Associate interacts with bank officials at various levels.

*We're open to this position working in a hybrid capacity from our Denver or Boulder, CO offices - 3 days in office and 2 days from home per week.

Responsibilities

• Update daily global cash balance reporting to enable Treasury team to assess funding needs or pay down on borrowings, andetermine optimal placement of cash and cash equivalents and intercompany settlements

• Maintain global cash flow forecasts, assist with processing of intercompany settlements to support global operations

• Assist with tracking and maintenance of debt compliance as required per Zayo debt facilities

• Engage with various levels of banking representatives and internal business partners from Accounting, Tax, Legal and Finance

• Open, close and maintain global bank accounts and banking services. Perform regular reviews of legal authorized signers and bank portal users

• Contribute to strong internal control environment. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures

• Contribute to the execution of departmental projects and goals designed to increase operational efficiencies and strengthen control environment (ie: automation, optimization, system and bank product/service implementations)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

• Zero - Two (0-2) years' corporate treasury work experience

• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and effectively

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills

• Strong analytical, financial and systems skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience

Base pay range: $21.58 - $26.97/hour commensurate with experience.
