WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and manage relationships with bankers: analyze and execute investment opportunities with operating cash and monitor and negotiate bank fees
• Download and integrate information from bank websites
• Update cash information into our systems daily
• Update and maintain a schedule of all outstanding bonds and letters of credit to include coordination with operations teams on new requests and renewals
• Analyze and recommend more efficient and cost-effective cash management services
• RFP Treasury services every 3 years and recommend a course of action
• Collaborate with business units to gather information to prepare cash forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Recommend courses of action for Senior Management from cash projections
• Download clearing activity, assimilate data, and distribute to appropriate parties
• Review and monitor check and ACH payments
• Monitor and negotiate company credit card programs and assist with renewal
• Approve ACH payment activity prior to bank transmission
• Perform analysis for potential business line investments for Senior Management
• Monitor and manage insurance programs, assist with updates and renewals
• Develop and publish Insurance Broker RFP every 3-4 years, analyze submissions and recommend alternatives
• Serve as member of the Safety Committee
• Attend Workers Compensation seminars on risk management
• Support the Senior VP of Finance & Treasury with ad hoc cash reporting when needed
• Develop and deliver regular and ad hoc financial reporting
• Assist in internal and external home and lot closings

REQUIREMENTS

• Four-year degree required. Finance, Accounting, or relevant business degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience with financial reporting preferred
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
• General understanding of finance and accounting; understanding of construction and permanent financing preferred
• Demonstrated aptitude for analytics and problem solving
• Knowledge of treasury management services and commercial banking platforms
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Project management skills
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and competing priorities and consistently meeting deadlines
