About The Position
The Treasury Coordinator is responsible for providing professional administrative services while maintaining complete confidentiality for the Vice President & Treasurer of Ameren Corp. as well as personnel in the functions of Banking, Corporate Finance, Corporate Modeling, Credit Risk Management, Investor Relations, Investor Services, and Trust Investments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and organize the Vice President & Treasurer's activities within the company and professional organizations. Perform other day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, schedule/calendar coordination, monitor deadlines, preparation of presentations, handling of internal and external confidential correspondence and information, coordination of meeting/travel plans and itineraries, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Assist with extensive planning for and preparation of Finance Committee of the Board materials and other major projects on an as-needed basis.
- Assist with and coordinate the creation and ongoing oversight of the Treasury department budget.
- Coordinate, plan and execute key Treasury department activities and initiatives, including quarterly department meetings, United Way campaign and other social activities.
- Serve as the department KPI Coordinator. Assist in the annual development of scorecard key performance indicators and allocation percentage working in collaboration with all Treasury management; collect and calculate all KPI totals quarterly.
- Coordinate activities related to Treasury department personnel changes and performance connection discussions.
- Serve as the Lead Records Management Coordinator. Provide oversight of the online system for tracking records kept in off-site storage and electronic records.
- Prepare disbursement requests for multi-million dollar financial transactions, such as quarterly Nuclear Decommissioning payments and quarterly credit facility and letter of credit fees. Create and maintain accuracy of Purchase Orders (POs) as necessary for payment of invoices involving ongoing services for Treasury department.
- Serve as Corporate Credit Card Site Administrator and perform credit card reconciliation tasks. Serve as the department TRIS Administrator; resolve all timekeeping related issues; update system with new service request items and remove as necessary. Maintain mail distribution lists as assigned within Outlook, Yammer and Teams.
- Work effectively as a team with the Finance administrative personnel to provide coverage on the Finance floor during regular business hours as needed. This includes escorting visitors, reserving conference rooms, maintaining a stock of supplies, mail distribution, and other duties as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and use a high degree of discretion. Demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior leadership. Provide back-up to other support/administrative personnel.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Five or more years of high level administrative experience required. Experience supporting senior level executive in financial services organization preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams required. Proficiency in SharePoint, Workday, OneNote, Adobe Acrobat Reader, preferred. Proficiency in the use of timekeeping software including TRIS is preferred. Ability to interact effectively with senior management required. Strong organizational and management skills required. Ability to work independently in a confidential manner and take a leadership role in various projects and activities also required.
