Treasury Lead

The Treasury Lead will be responsible for managing all global cash management (corporate and trading related), foreign exchange, and interest rate risk management. This person will help steer the development of financial policies and technology implementations for working capital, treasury operations, foreign exchange and interest rate risk management. This person will also be responsible for supervising the maintenance of internal controls designed to safeguard corporate assets and the integrity of its fiscal systems. The Treasury Lead serves as a financial risk manager who seeks to protect the company's value from the financial risks it faces from its business activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the treasury function; driving individual and group development
• Improve current cash management strategy, inclusive of short-term and long-term liquidity and cash planning
• Manage aspects of all daily margin calls and required funding, and partner with the business development team to manage capital at our various trading entities
• Implement technology enhancements to improve the functional efficiency of the team and which will scale with the rest of the firm
• Familiarity with post-trade life cycles of Equities, Futures, FX, Options, Interest Rate Swaps, digital assets and Bonds
• Own treasury data and utilize technical tools to help the various teams at the firm perform their roles better (knowledge of / willingness to learn SQL, Python, and VBA)
• Collaborate with financial and operational leadership to support strategic initiatives across the firm
• Implement a firmwide FX hedging program to manage FX risk
• Manage credit facilities at various trading and operating entities globally
• Own banking relationships, support clearing and exchange relationships, and partner with business development to manage other credit-related external relationships
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Tax, and other core departments when assessing new opportunities

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in a Finance role, with at minimum 7+ years of experience in Treasury
• Prior experience working in a quant fund, hedge fund, or prime broker strongly preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, management, or accounting required
• An MBA, CFA or advanced degree is preferred
• Series 99 or 27 required prior to starting with the firm, or must be obtained within 3 months following your start date
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and the ability to participate in complex internal discussions required
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and VBA
• A strict attention to detail, coupled with a no-task-too-small mentality is a must
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a time-sensitive and dynamic environment

Annual base salary range of $150,000 to $200,000. Pay (base and bonus) may vary depending on job-related skills and experience. A sign-on and discretionary performance bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package, in addition to company-paid medical and/or other benefits.
