What we’re looking for

A Treasury Associate with 2-5+ years of Liquidity Risk and Corporate Treasury experience to join as Associate on Cross River’s Treasury team.  Primary responsibility will be to evaluate and analyze the Bank's liquidity risk management framework, funding plan and related areas of Treasury. 

Responsibilities:

  • Liquidity risk stress testing program
  • Interacting with business areas on funding and liquidity considerations
  • Technology solution for liquidity risk management information and reporting
  • Analysis and suggestions for optimization of the Bank's funding profile
  • Analysis of the Bank's investment portfolio of cash and HQLA
  • Assisting with governance of Liquidity Risk, including policy documentation, limit structure and interaction with other lines of defense
  • The role is primarily supporting the Head of Liquidity Risk. Willingness to learn and support Capital, IRR and ALM is desired
  • Deposit and funding stack reporting and analysis
  • Support liquidity raising efforts including: FHLB, Treasury relationship funding, and other deposit raising initiatives
  • Support and analyze pricing of funding products (deposits, Treasury relationship funding, etc.)
  • Creation of reporting for senior management, ALCO and Board of Directors

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years+ of experience in Liquidity Risk and Corporate Treasury
  • Degree in accounting, business, management, or finance
  • Innovator
  • Technology proficient
  • Effective in data gathering, able to work in an unstructured environment, effective communication skills and able to build partnerships internally and externally
  • Thrive in multi-tasking across many simultaneous initiatives
  • An outlier attitude: passion, perseverance, and positivity
