Treasury Management

The Treasury Management job supervises treasury activities in support of the cash management and liquidity strategy of the enterprise. This job manages professional-level employees who are responsible for cash flow monitoring and reporting as well as financial transaction and status reporting. As a team manager, this job sets goals and objectives for team members and ensures that policies and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Monitors all aspects of cash flow to achieve operational efficiencies and results, and delivers reports to management team on treasury activities.
  • Supervises various treasury activities, including the allocation of cash balances, maintenance of investment records and preparation of expense and earnings forecasts, ensuring activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Oversees day-to-day treasury processes and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accurate recording data.
  • Provides guidance to the development and implementation of treasury projects to help streamline treasury operations and processes.
  • Ensures proper functioning of treasury management systems by managing various systems implementation projects, as needed.
  • Develops relationships with banking partners, money managers, trustees, etc., in order to enhance the company's position with external counterparts.
  • Monitors internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manages performance of the team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of strategic initiatives, and to foster the engagement, motivation, and development of the team.

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
FINRA Registrations
  • SRC Indicator: Series 6 or 7; Series 26 or 24
Physical Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

  • 5+ years of treasury and/or finance experience required
  • FINRA Registration Series 6 or 7; AND Series 26 or 24 must be obtained within the first 120 days of employment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of treasury and/or finance experience preferred
  • SRC Indicator: Series 6 or 7; Series 26 or 24
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Experience with Treasury management work station, Payment work flow tool,
  • Experience with SharePoint and Excel

Base Pay Range: $116,300/yr. - $193,800/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
