Treasury Management Analyst

About the Job
We are seeking a treasury management analyst to join the rapidly growing Servicing Team who will be responsible for the oversight of a portfolio of commercial real estate debt investments. The treasury management analyst will maintain complex financial analyses, create/evaluate monthly reports, and perform reviews invoices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new portfolio and loan level onboarding within BWAM’s proprietary loan servicing system
• Monitor reserve and escrow accounts and perform routine escrow analysis
• Create, reconcile and review billing, partial paydown and payoff statements along with
• remittance reports
• Coordinate with treasury department for daily cash management functions
• Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis
• Apply payments received to appropriate invoices
• Coordinate payments for property taxes and insurance
• Perform additional ad-hoc analysis, as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to read and analyze investment, lease, loan and management agreements
• Dynamic team player with strong integrity, a high degree of professionalism
• Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment including:
  • Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excessive attention to detail, outstanding initiative and an eagerness to learn with a strong work ethic
  • Completion of a high level of work within tight timeframes and successfully managing competing deadlines
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and work with limited direct guidance

Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000

• Asset-level analytics: Providing quantitative and qualitative investment- and portfolio level performance reports by consolidating and analyzing monthly operating statements produced by operating partners to track and monitor performance against initial underwriting;
• Active Asset Management Support: The team works closely with Acquisition Teams to help monitor all strategic and joint-venture operating partners on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include weekly leasing calls, monthly operational reviews, annual budget and business plan reviews and financial analysis;
• Investment and Fund-level Reforecasting: BWAM is responsible for creating proprietary investment-level valuation models for the portfolio to enhance our ability to reforecast investment-and fund-level performance on a routine basis.
