JOB SUMMARY

The Treasury Management Analyst, supports the Relationship Management team throughout the sales cycle and provides treasury solutions to both prospects and existing clients. Facilitates in the preparation of proposals and implementation of products and services. The role is responsible for examining internal client data and external 3rd party data to help improve revenue generation; help improve operational performance through data analysis and perform operations functions related to production of treasury service offerings (either daily function or implementation). This person will be assigned a book of clients from the corporate and or personal banking group.

This position requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment, within the scope of the individual's authority, with respect to matters of significance to the Bank.

DUTIES OF THE POSITION

The duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provides support to new or existing bank clients and works with internal and external contacts with service requests, inquiries or technical issues related to specific bank and treasury management services.
• Works with the VP Treasury Management Sales Team Leader on various tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Maintaining the department Pitch Book updated
  • Treasury Management pipeline management
  • Routine monthly and one-off reporting
  • Preparing and managing Relationship Reviews
  • Assist with Treasury Management sales opportunities
  • Maintain Treasury Management Pipeline and Database current and up to date
• Supports the identification, and creation of opportunities to grow in revenues through cross selling and leads generation for Treasury Management products
• Conducts client analysis and contributes with proposal generation
• Researches, designs and assists with implementation of new products and services
• Analyzes, identifies and assesses data attributes; develops recommendations and processes to improve operational performance ensuring adherence to department policies and procedures, including, but not limited to pricing and cost study analysis
• Takes ownership and deliver timely resolution of client issues
• Utilizes a working knowledge of the various Treasury Management products and solutions provided by the bank to originate and participate in marketing efforts
• Trains bank officers with regards to department products
• Works with Relationship Managers with support in proposing and implementing Treasury Management solutions for clients

Online Banking functions:

• Complete and verify all documentation required to onboard clients into Online Banking service (user maintenance, new user creation, new primary administrator creation and modifications, replacements and delivery of tokens, etc)
• Offer and enroll clients into Mobile App and Paperless statement registration, Bulk payments, MT940, H2H and other banking services
• Act as a subject matter expert for testing implementations of online banking services enhancements and moving to production phase

Debit Card functions:

• Ordering of new and replacement Debit cards for Bci clients, activation of debit cards, reset of debit card PIN #, increase/decrease POS and ATM limits, post travel notes, client support on real time transactions, responsible for all disputes regarding fraudulent debit card use, general inquiry on debit cards (e.g., reports, logs, disputes, maintenance, requests, etc.), salesforce log maintenance for debit card cases, develop and maintain debit card procedures

• Travel as required

• Assume evolving duties and responsibilities of position
• Work all hours required to fulfill job duties and responsibilities (including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed)
• Ability to carry and lift boxes and objects that may weigh between 10 and 25 pounds.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and appropriate analysis acumen to interact and influence clients by use of verbal and written communication and through strong presentation skills

Backup functions:

• Provide back-up for Treasury Sales Management Team

PRE-HIRE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

COMPUTER:

Ability to operate IBM compatible personal computers, fluency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other banking applications.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school, or equivalent of 4 years of experience in the financial industry.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

N/A

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in cash/treasury management.
