Job Description

The Treasury Manager will oversee all aspects of the treasury process including opening and closing accounts, managing, and reviewing bank fees, wire approval, and ensuring compliance with SOC procedures. The role collaborates with Project Accounting, Corporate Accounting and Banks to ensure that properties operate as efficiency and effectively as possible. The Treasury Manager will collaborate regularly with teams to ensure services are setup appropriately and assist in completing online transactions with the bank. The Treasury Management team ensures that all fees are appropriate, accounts are expedited as needed, and all transactions are completed accurately.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage bank relationships and coordinate bank opening process to ensure timely and accurate opening with multiple banks. 
• Monitor bank fees for accuracy and work to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage online banking platforms and ensure that banking requests are completed timely. 
• Provide timely and accurate feedback regarding bank relationships and service.
• Monitor banking procedures to provide a clear understanding and transparency to processes.
• Review and recommend changes to the investment policies based on the market conditions.
• Evaluate, develop, and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
• Recommend, implement, and maintain process improvements.
• Organize and lead team meetings/trainings.
• Oversee the review and release of wire and online payments.
• Supervise Treasury roles and provide goal setting, training, and performance evaluation.

Qualifications

•  7+ years of related experience 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
• Exceptional collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience developing, mentoring, and leading staff
• Advanced organization, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated to identify, evaluate, and resolve issues
• Knowledge of banking systems and relationships
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Intermediate/advanced competence in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

 DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & COMPETENCIES:

• Experience in presenting and preparing proposals to recommend new products/services
• Knowledge of treasury software expertise
• Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills
• Demonstrated strong project management skills
• Interested in process improvement
• Willing to adapt quickly to quick changes in direction
• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills
