This position is based at either our office in San Jose, CA or Draper, UT.   We support a  hybrid work environment with on-site and remote work days.

BILL is seeking to hire a Treasury Manager for its team.  As BILL is a high-growth FinTech leader moving over $60Billion in client payment per quarter, Treasury expertise in cash flows and manaing funds is mission critical to the success of the company.  

This role is not a typical Treasury job in the corner of the company -- detached from the company's business and customers -- it is a role important to the company's financial strength, product offerings. and growth profile as a public company.

The Treasury Manager will report to the Sr. Treasury Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecast and analyze the company’s Direct Cash Flow, providing regular updates to forecasts and variance analyses, to inform senior leadership on business outlook and performance, and support guidance for investors.

  • Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting and other functions to develop projections, reconcile to Operating Cash Flow of Indirect Method, and manage levers to optimize cash flow performance.

  • Develop tools to automate Direct Cash Flow tracking and other Treasury responsibilities, including assisting with selection and implementation of a Treasury Management System;

  • Manage daily funding and payment services of the charge card businesses with over $3 billion in spend per quarter.

  • Partnering internally with Product Management and Engineering and externally with financial institutions, develop and manage new payment services for clients, including working capital products.

  • Work closely with internal and external auditors to manage deliverables for all aspects of audit, SOX controls and state examinations.

  • Cross-train and support other functions within the Treasury organization.

  • Propose and implement new ideas to improve Treasury, the company, and our services for clients.

Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:

 

  • Minimum five (5) years work experience in Corporate Treasury or related fields, preferably for public corporations.

  • Minimum of two (2) years accounting experience.

  • Good work ethic, attention to details and ability to work independently.

  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, communication and time management skills.

  • Comfortable working in a high growth and dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or accounting; CTP preferred.
