North America Treasury represents the central treasury management function supporting Experian’s North America region. Experian’s North America Region represents approximately two thirds of Experian’s total revenue and associated cash flows.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious Treasury Manager who will lead relationships with the company’s partner banks and identify opportunities to better utilize banking services, manage cash forecasting, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operational requirements and ensuring key controls are maintained. The Treasury Manager will also lead various projects including the requests for new banking services or relationships, integrations of treasury related processes of newly acquired businesses, and process improvement projects.

Job Description

Acts as strategic business partner and advisor to the North America Controller providing operational leadership on treasury and banking operations in the region, covering the following areas:

Banking

  • Manage and maintain relationships with our partner banks and financial institutions.
  • Work with both internal and external resources to identify and implement opportunities to better utilize the services available from our banks and financial institutions and optimize costs;
  • Analyze and negotiate charges and service levels with our partner banks; and
  • Address local compliance requests from our banks.

Liquidity Management

  • Drive initiatives to optimize liquidity and centralize excess cash with Group Treasury;
  • Work with various teams to continuously improve the quality of cash forecasting; and
  • Analyze and report liquidity performance metrics.

Risk management

  • Ensure and monitor the region’s compliance with Experian’s Group Treasury Management Standards;
  • Oversee the effective functioning of controls in relation to cash management and other treasury matters;
  • Administer and control access to our bank accounts and financial institutions;
  • Identify foreign exchange exposures in the region and work with Group Treasury to hedge them.

Other

  • Lead projects to integrate treasury and finance aspects of acquired companies;
  • Support on intragroup settlements and/or financing arrangements in the region;
  • Partner with our global Treasury team, various business units, shared services, and other functional staff;
  • Support and promote finance goals and objective – work with teams to identify productivity and cost saving initiatives in support of annual goals;
  • Enhance/automate finance processes and challenge existing assumptions and methodologies; and
  • Provide Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

  • BS or BA in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive treasury, cash management, project management, analytical and leadership experience
  • Executive level presentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Can see the big picture, without losing eye for detail
  • Developed a strong sense of personal integrity and strong values. Good collaborator and support a fun working environment.
  • Comfortable in a highly energized and fast paced business environment.
  • Desire to develop others through training, coaching and leading by example
  • Comfortable discussing ideas with all levels of leadership and contributors throughout the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
