About you and this role
In this role, you will use specialized depth and breadth of expertise in the Treasury discipline to ensure Dow's financial flexibility. You will interpret internal and external business conditions and data to recommend process improvements in order to continuously improve enterprise-wide cash flow management, rating agency engagement, and capital structure visibility along with preparing analysis and presentations for executive management and Dow's board of directors. Responsibilities
- Assist the Sr. Director of Corporate Planning in preparing cash flow estimates for the company which requires extensive interaction across different functions and geographies to understand all relevant cash requirements and capital structure for our company.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Planning team in the preparation of treasury related board materials.
- Continuously enhance financial scenario modeling to simulate potential impact of management actions (i.e. Share repurchase, Dividend increase, Debt payments, M&A, etc).
- Rating agency engagement to ensure full alignment and reconciliation of leverage ratio metrics being reported.
- Bring visibility to Sadara's Financial Position, Income Statement and Cash Flow.
- Track and analyze Treasury Budget and ensure Treasury Leadership Team is has visibility in order to take any required intervention.
- Confirm debt covenant compliance by analyzing reasonableness of all quarterly financial information and calculated ratios pertaining to Debt Financial Covenants
- Ad-hoc requests and projects
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher.
- A minimum of 5-years of relevant experience.
- For U.S. Applicants: A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
Preferred Skills
- Accuracy and extreme attention to details is critical in this role. Information provided by the Corporate Planning team goes directly to Treasurer and CFO for decision making.
- Interpersonal effectiveness - Ability to create strong relationships across the company, enabling you to rely on your network when facing challenging deadlines or urgent requests.
- Strategic Thinking - Think beyond reporting, understand our stakeholder's objectives and how to best contribute to achieving goals.
