TREASURY MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities in the Treasury group to meet the obligations of the organization. Activities include, but are not limited to, treasury/cash management, bank and third-party operation management, bank relationship management, cash accounting, cash/debt forecasting, letter of credit requests and surety bond management and payment research. Maintaining the insurance schedules for the AZZ property, workers' comp and other insurance schedules as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Elicits and analyzes proposals for banking and financing services.
• Provides everyday cash position, estimate and analysis with insight on future cash estimates
• Maintains cash forecast and validates accuracy timely
• Develops everyday cash position report comprising of forecasting every week cash receipts plus disbursements.
• Supervises and manages all international cash balances efficiently.
• Presents weekly cash summary along with accounting reports to Sr. Management to ensure compliance, and that the reporting meets end-user needs.
• Manages corporate card, ACH debits, merchant credit card and lockbox implementations and processes.
• Manages letters of credit, surety bonds and corporate guarantees.
• Assists Tax and Legal departments on transactions and banking associated to international entity establishment or restructurings.
• Supervises maintenance and updates signatories on all bank accounts.
• Assists SOX compliance and testing for entire Treasury department.
• Performs as security administrator for entire bank software tools.
• Develops, monitors, and has input into the Treasury department budget.
• Support to manage short-term investment balances along with interest recording.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides formal supervision to professional employees and/or supervisors. Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree preferred.

5 to 7 years of experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Up to 20% travel required, may include international.

Knowledge of corporate insurance and risk management programs is a plus.
