What you're applying for
We're looking for a Treasury Manager to develop and manage Lemonade's corporate treasury operations.
This role requires you to build relationships with our current banking and investment management partners, and support internal key stakeholders across all entities. Your insights will be key as Lemonade continues to expand into new markets and launch new products and capabilities that come with unique financing requirements and regulation in the insurance sector.
The expected salary for this position will be $110K - $140K per year.
In this Role You'll

• Manage banking and investment manager relationships
• Oversee and manage the company's global cash position and global cash flow forecast
• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to execute treasury operations project
• Manage inter company relationships and arrangements, maintaining appropriate capital levels for operating needs that supports the company's liquidity strategy-including managing foreign exchange translation exposure
• Monitor and oversee the corporate investment portfolio and recommend strategic changes to investment policy in order to enhance investment returns
• Quantify and analyze company-wide foreign currency transaction, economic, and translation exposures
• Help inform spending decisions and make hedging recommendations
• Ensure compliance with treasury controls documentation and assist in all quarterly review and annual audit requests

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of relevant general treasury or corporate finance professional experience
• Highly proficient in Excel and Google Workspace
• Extensive treasury operations experience including banking/cash operations and cash management/forecasting
• Prior work experience in multiple areas within treasury/Cash management, Treasury Operations, FX, or Investment Management
• Exceptional understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting and reporting requirements of ASC 820 Fair Value Measurement and ASU 326 Financial Instruments - Credit Losses (CECL)
• Ability to work in an office environment
