Treasury Manager (San Jose, CA)
Job Description
Main responsibilities include:
- Lead cash management and cash forecasting process
- Administration of bank accounts and accesses, including opening, closing, and monitoring of worldwide bank accounts and designing of international cash pools
- Assist in working capital management including working with AP, AR and FP&A teams to deliver the DPO, DSO and inventory turnover targets.
- Initiating, validating, approving, and releasing corporate payments
- Develop plans to ensure liquidity and the lowest cost of capital for the Company.
- Lead the insurance renewals and claim management for property, D&O, General liability, fiduciary, and worker comp insurance programs
- Lead the corporate fleet leasing program
- Assist in improving and automating the cash forecasting process in order to minimize funding requirements.
- Recommend improvement to daily cash management activities and work closely with AR, AP, Payroll, Controllership, and accounting to provide quarterly cash flow forecasts.
- Manage investment portfolio, maintain investment policy, and monitor investment managers' performance and compliance.
- Assist with negotiation and set up of standby letters of credit, and performance bonds.
- Lead the implementation of the Treasury Management System.
- Assist in debt and covenant compliance.
- Improve upon established Treasury processes, procedures, and policies.
- Compliance with SOX controls and ensuring that all accounting, financial reporting, audit, and SOX deliverables are met on time
- Periodical review of Treasury policies relating to cash management, approval limits, bank mandates, and risk management
Key Skills
- Bachelor or master's degree
- 5+ years of relevant treasury experience. CTP/ CFA certification is a plus.
- 7+ years of finance experience
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills paired with a "roll up the sleeves" style
- Extensive knowledge of investments, banking, corporate finance and financial instruments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task and manage competing priorities
- Self-starter with a desire to quickly learn and excel; willing and able to start, oversee and complete projects with minimal supervision
- Continuous improvement mindset, excellent communication, and effective collaboration skills across all levels
