Treasury Manager, Senior

The Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Treasury professional to own and scale our treasury processes to support our business growth. We are targeting a strategic thinker and business person first, and a treasury expert second. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will own the vision and priorities for the Treasury function and be a key component in helping our company achieve our quarterly goals. You will partner with other members of the Finance & Accounting team, Data Science and Credit Risk teams.

As the Day 1 leader of the Treasury function, you will be hands-on owning a wide breadth of initiatives — from designing scalable processes for funds flow and treasury movements to implementing new technology to drive greater efficiency and accuracy of our cash balances. The impact of this role is substantial, involving the movement of hundreds of millions of dollars. This role is positioned to set the stage for the company's scaling efforts over the next few years and will play a pivotal role in building out a small, but mighty team.

What you’ll do:

• Set the vision and priorities for the newly created Treasury function on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis, and partner with cross-functional teams such as FP&A, Accounting, Credit Risk and Data Science
• Develop short and long-term cash flow/liquidity forecasting models in collaboration with FP&A, analyze variances with Accounting and make recommendations based on analysis.
• Lead global cash management activities, including coordinating day-to-day cash movements between accounts, cash positioning, forecasting and funding
• Implement new technology tools to drive greater accuracy in cash forecasting and efficiency in treasury processes while optimizing liquidity and interest income
• Design and implement corporate finance strategies focused on capital structure, financing initiatives and new investment opportunities to improve working capital and lower our weighted average cost of capital
• Establish and maintain banking relationships for lending operations and corporate entities and implement new banking products
• Partner with CFO to support new capital markets transactions, and own and manage existing debt investor relationships
• Establish best-in-class treasury processes and procedures, building a strong internal controls environment

Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Treasury work experience
• Must have 3+ years of financial services experience with a focus on lending
• Must have experience supporting capital markets transactions and off-balance sheet financing structures
• Must have familiarity with NetSuite and Treasury software tools, experience implementing a TMS is a plus
• Strong business partnership skills and ability to effectively build and lead a high-performing team
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, professional certification or MBA is a plus
