Treasury Operations Analyst

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is looking for a Treasury Operations Analyst to be responsible for firm-wide treasury operations. The role will involve cross-team collaboration within HRT to manage cash, payments, and banking operations. The ideal candidate has an interest in financial technology, capital markets, risk management, and process improvement, paired with the ability to apply critical thinking to optimize daily treasury operations. 

Responsibilities

• Bank account management, coordination, and documentation, including opening, maintaining, and closing bank accounts
• Administration and review of signatories and user accesses for bank accounts and portals
• Process and monitor day-to-day cash movements and balances
• Execute, reconcile, and report daily cash operations, funding, and FX transactions
• Enter, process, and monitor manual domestic and cross-border payments and wires through global banking portals
• Track and process the settlement of FX trades
• Management and processing of margin balances, which includes verifying, analyzing, and meeting daily margin calls
• Integrate accounts and processes with external systems to improve automation
• Collaborate with teams to improve and automate processes that are globally consistent
• Lead the vendor management verification process
• Administration and management of the credit card program, including requests for new cards, management on limits, and coordination on fraudulent transactions
• Support the rollout of new initiatives in cash and capital management, cash forecasting, analysis, and reporting
• Support senior Treasury team members with other department initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Interest in  operational and day-to-day processes
• Strong experience in processing various types of domestic and international payments
• Organized and familiar with bank account-related documentation
• Responsible, reliable, and conscientious, with keen attention to detail
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business requirements
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a time sensitive and dynamic environment
• Familiar with Excel and basic programming skills in any language
