Position Summary/Objective

The Treasury Research Analyst supports in implementing business related technology solutions in a cost-effective and low-risk manner. A Treasury Research Analyst develops technical solutions to business problems by analyzing and documenting requirements. The role of Treasury Research Analyst should be one in which an overall knowledge of the departmental functions and policies are well understood so any anticipated change requests, deployments, or other implementations are properly scoped and the related impact is foreseen.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

• Record, Analyze, and Report on trends related to bank account fees and other expenses incurred by the treasury department.
• Collaborate with other departments on how to save the company more money
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop/implement solutions.
• Performing user acceptance testing.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Respond and resolve customer problems, grievances and issues
• Assists both internal and external customers with account inquires and transactions via phone, email, internet chat, and case management system
• Take the initiative to start new tasks, projects or operate out of their area of influence
• Work with internal IT team on enhancements to increase system capabilities that will enhance the efficiency of everyday processing
• Perform ancillary Treasury tasks, i.e. stop payments, void checks, ACH Reversals, Trace ID’s, etc.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior reconciliation experience
• 1-3 years of applicable experience
• 4 year degree
• Solutions oriented with an innovative mindset

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with industry specific treasury services
