Job Description

Ankura is a team of excellence founded on innovation and growth.

PRACTICE OVERVIEW:

Ankura’s Visual Communications & Trial Technology consulting group knows the power of visual persuasion. We understand how critical communication is to our clients’ reputations and in resolving significant business issues.

Our visual communications and technology consultants are skilled in developing solutions for all presentation challenges—in courtrooms, conference rooms, and board rooms. Working closely with clients to understand each case and develop concepts to clarify and emphasize key themes and issues, we make complicated information easy to understand.

When it matters most, our technology consultants, artists, animators, and legal consultants bring the expertise needed to create winning outcomes. While Ankura works on cases of all sizes, our expertise with large, complicated matters on behalf of global corporations facing crises with high-exposure litigation sets us apart. Our experience in managing multi-district litigation and associated costs is one of our strengths. Our team is accustomed to developing and producing large volumes of visuals in high-pressure environments.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Trial Technology Associate will be responsible for consulting with attorneys on presentation technology and trial-data management in courtrooms and similar settings. They will assist with organizing and running attorney presentations, and coordinate all systems, databases and equipment related to visual presentation of Ankura’s graphics, deposition videos, and documents at trials, hearings, and focus groups. All of this is done while managing and exceeding client expectations. Trial Technology Associates organize, coordinate, and administer all resources and activities for projects end-to-end. This is a full-time, exempt position.

This is a great opportunity to join a thriving global Firm in a dynamic and interesting field. We offer competitive pay, great benefits, and a fun environment.

Our ideal location is Atlanta, Georgia; however, we are open to other remote locations.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent combination of skills and experience. Upcoming and recent Bachelor’s degree graduates will also be considered.
  • Some experience/exposure to the client service industries is preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (non-traditional hours)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and support PCs, networks, printers and audiovisual equipment
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong knowledge of graphic and video file formats
  • Excellent reliability and timeliness
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Able to work in constantly changing settings and demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours when necessary
  • Able to handle high-pressure environment and tight deadlines on occasion
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and self-disciplined
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
