Trim Technician

Position Title: Trim Technician

Reports To: Tool Room Supervisor

Location: Tanner, Alabama

POSITION SUMMARY:  

Trim technician will be responsible to prepare and repair trims. As well as trim SMED

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Will support the production floor in matters of the trim tool
• Will be responsible to program the trim machines as it pertains to the die
• Will be responsible to SMED the trim tools
• Will repair and improve trim dies according to priorities
• Will conduct PM activities on the trim tools
• Responsible for the 5S of the area and stations
• Follow all Bocar US safety policies/procedures and report any unsafe conditions or hazards to proper personnel.

REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)

• Must have 2+ years of trim tool experience
• Experience in aluminum die casting manufacturing environment desired
• Must be possess a willingness to learn new concepts, via coursework or visiting other locations.
• Must be resourceful, have the ability to provide clear and analytical thinking as well as an ability to problem solve and create effective strategies
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
