Summary We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at J&L Imperium Industries. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ready-mix concrete to various job sites. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to quality service and timely deliveries. Responsibilities • Operate various types of trucks including roll-off, flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks to transport ready-mix concrete. • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently at designated locations. • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during transportation. • Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operation. • Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and minimize downtime. • Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any potential issues on the road. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities transported and times of arrival. • Provide excellent customer service during interactions at job sites. Qualifications • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. • Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction or concrete industry. • Familiarity with various truck types including roll-off, flatbed, tanker, and dump trucks. • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving. • Ability to load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment. • Excellent route planning skills to ensure timely deliveries. • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
