Truck Driver Class A

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of vehicles including tankers, refrigerated trailers, and roll-off trucks. Responsibilities • Operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailers and tankers. • Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. • Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes taken, and vehicle maintenance. • Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklifts when required. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays. • Follow all company policies regarding safety and compliance during transportation. Skills • Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). • Familiarity with operating tankers, refrigerated trailers, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles. • Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate efficiently through various terrains. • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues. • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients. • A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of driving and cargo handling.
