As a Tube Bender in the aerospace industry, you will be responsible for the successful fabrication of precision tube assemblies the support projects for various aircraft components. You will be responsible for bending and shaping various types of tubing materials to precise specifications, ensuring they meet the highest quality and safety standards. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability and safety of aerospace equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate CNC rotary draw bending machines while conforming to tight tolerances.
Set-up and operate tube cutting equipment, flare, bead, & sizing machines.
Put safety as a number one priority.
Keep a clean, organized, and thoroughly maintained workspace.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
3+ years of experiences in manufacturing or production environment
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience working with titanium, aluminum, and stainless steel
Experience working with close tolerances
Experience with a tube bending machine & laser vision machine
5+ years of experience as a tube bender
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work additional overtime as needed
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, 8 hours minimum.
Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces.
