Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) – Pflugerville, TX
Contract Length:36 Weeks
Compensation:Up to $60/hr (based on experience)

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Job Description:
Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments
Collaborate with general education and special education teachers to adapt curriculum
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Conduct functional vision assessments and learning media assessments
Support students in learning Braille and the use of assistive technology
Travel between school sites as needed to provide direct services
Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
Education & Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or Visual Impairments
Valid Texas teaching certification with endorsement in Visual Impairment (TVI)
Experience working with visually impaired students preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families
