Position Description:

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack JavaScript Developer passionate about modern web technologies and graphics APIs. You’ll help architect a robust platform for data analytics and visualization.
This is a six month freelance position with a possible extension beyond that.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development
• Strong full-stack JavaScript/Node.js experience
• Proficient in React.js, Redux, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with AWS CDK, Typescript, and/or WebGL a plus
• Solid foundational knowledge and experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Broad experience with a variety of other commonly used in web technologies as messaging queues and caching engines
• Experience building backend software in additional languages such as python is a plus
• Familiarity with building and automating development tools and processes

• Able to provide code examples or completed project work
• Self-motivated, proactive, and efficient with time
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration in a remote environment
• Experienced in working with stakeholders to identify and solve problems
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong desire for continued growth in the field of web-application development

Additional Information

• This is a remote (work-from-home position)
• Zoic does not cover relocation costs
• Pay Range: 50/hr – 65/hr DOE(The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position)
• Zoic participates in the eVerify program
