During this internship, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of healthcare technology and gain hands-on experience in developing innovative solutions. About the Team
The team you'll be part of is at the forefront of creating impactful solutions for the healthcare industry. As a UI/Web Developer Intern, you'll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team that values creativity and innovation. You'll work closely with UX/UI designers, project managers, business analysts, and software engineers, gaining insights into various disciplines within the organization.
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop fast, intuitive, and user-friendly software for healthcare solutions.
- Assist in translating wireframes and research into reusable components, contributing to the overall user experience.
- Deliver prototypes, reusable UI components, and implement application user interfaces.
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst to analyze product requirements.
- Contribute to the evolution of application development standards and coding guides.
- Ensure user software requirements are met through effective development and testing.
Internship Assignment Summary
Your Summer schedule is full time, 40 hours per week:
May - Take Off: Program Kick-Off and the Start of the Summer!
June - Teamwork and Discovery: Work with your assigned team and fellow Interns on projects while also attending workshops, panels, and tours.
July - Networking and Public Speaking: Present to Senior Leadership, work with team members on innovative new projects, and expand your career network.
August - Takeaways: Provide insight for your future career and create lasting career networks.
Education/Qualifications/Skills
- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in computer science or a related field.
- Passion for developing rich interactive user interfaces for web applications.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS3.
- Exposure to Angular 14 or higher is a plus.
- Familiarity with software patterns and UX design systems, such as Twitter Bootstrap.
- Experience in code scaffolding, building tools, testing frameworks, and test methods for web development.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, deadline-driven environment.

Location:
Remote availability, prefer candidates living in North Carolina.
Pay Range: $20.00 / hour
Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
