What we need:ย
- Develop and support UI visualization needs in accordance with the project's artistic direction and game design philosophies.
- Work with Game & UX-Designers to concept, iterate, and produce assets throughout all stages of development from pre-viz, to in-engine implementation of game-ready assets, and into polish.
- Stewards selected artistic efforts through iteration and cross-functional implementation with assistance from Production & UI Leadership.
- Partners with UI team to maintain a cohesive UI style guide that iteratively manifests in-game.
- Identify, implement, and document UI Art best practices and workflows to improve team effectiveness.
- Learn and research new tools to elevate the quality of UI deliverables and improve workflow within the UI team.
- Constantly seeks to grow self, learn from others, and contribute to the team!
Who you are:
- Demonstrates understanding of high-quality interactive entertainment UI needs.
- Well organized.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in software such as Photoshop, and Illustrator (or equivalent software for asset generation) is required.
- Experience working in game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, and other propriety or commercial engines), design toolsets, and production pipelines.
- In-Engine UI Materials knowledge is a major plus.
- Scripting knowledge (Blueprints or other) is a major plus.
- Motion graphics and animation proficiency is a major plus.
- Experience in visual prototyping software (Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Axure RP, Figma, etc.) is a plus.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $90,000 and $135,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
