UI Design Internship

We build software for our clients that range across multiple sectors and industries as well as tools for our internal users to help them better serve our clients. The Design System & UI team is a small group within the larger design team who streamline processes and create consistency around how we design and develop our products in addition to making visually pleasing, well-functioning, accessible interface designs with our engineer and UX partners. This team is made up of both designers and engineers making them an important and knowledgeable resource during a project’s lifecycle.

In this role you will:

• Actively contribute to and help maintain our design system, including Figma libraries, guidelines, and components 
• Assist in designing interfaces that are intuitive and visually appealing
• Provide support for other designers and engineers during sprints to resolve design system issues
• Uphold quality standards through visual QA and UI audits
• Be an active member of the design team, participating in interface reviews and sharing your own work 

Your impact:

We are seeking a growing designer to join our design team for an 8 week, paid internship. You’ll work side by side with UX designers, UI designers, and researchers to produce prototypes, mockups, and design patterns while maintaining usability standards and industry best practices. As a designer at Chatham Financial, you’ll recognize that great design puts a premium on understanding users’ needs
