UI Engineer - GS ETF Accelerator - VP

Job Description

Goldman Sachs ETF Accelerator is a new digital platform that enables our institutional clients to quickly and efficiently, launch, list, and manage their ETFs. This unique, "ETF infrastructure as a service" product is being built from the ground up, in an ambitious and dynamic environment. The Role

• Build beautiful user interfaces with responsiveness and performance in mind to captivate our users
• Be involved in all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) including effort estimation, the gathering of business requirements, the design, development, reviewing, building, testing, and deployment of commercial scale software changes
• Make code quality decisions, and ship solutions to provide value to our business
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, our business, and other engineers to define product vision and objectives
• Work as part of a team to hit delivery milestones and navigate blocker issues
• Apply agile methodologies in a sprint-based development team
• Engage with support teams to troubleshoot and solve production issue faced by users
• Analyze new tools and technologies to proof of concept and come up with recommendations to integrate into our platform

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 3+ years of front end experience
• Experience with TypeScript and React
• Familiarity with tools such as Node.JS, Java and JavaScript bundlers e.g. Vite and Webpack
• Familiarity with unit-testing and end-to-end testing frameworks
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable multi-tasking and working as part of a global team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or similar Cloud platforms
• Commercial awareness

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
