UI Engineer, Leather

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a UI Engineer to join the wallet team at Trust Machines and help us craft a beautiful cryptocurrency wallet. This role is critical in building a premier user experience for the Stacks ecosystem, fostering an engaged user base, and broadening the wallet’s capabilities within the Bitcoin realm.

What You’ll Do:

• Build high-impact, delightful user experiences for our Web Extension and mobile app
• Contribute to our growing design system & UI library
• Collaborate with the design team to find elegant solutions to complex problems

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years experience building consumer software, and a start up mindset
• Preference for remote, open source work
• Located within GMT −5 and +3
• Experience with Typescript and modern web frontend frameworks
• Strong understanding of Web APIs, state management, accessibility, and performance
• Recognises importance of thorough integration testing
• Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles
• Interaction design and animation experience
• Strong skills in designing scalable and maintainable software architecture
• Excitement to work in the crypto industry

We’d Also Like to See:

• Experience with React Native or Web Extensions
• Knowledgable about Bitcoin or other blockchains

• Core: Typescript, React, PandaCSS, Turborepo, Playwright
• Tools: Github, Notion, Figma, Slack
