UI Motion Designer | North America | Europe | Fully Remote

What We are looking for: 

We are looking for a Motion Designer to join our team who has experience implementing AAA quality animations for User Interfaces in Unreal Engine 5 or other comparable game engines. 

What You Will Do: 

• Develop engaging and fluid animations for UI elements, menus, and in-game interactions that enhance the player experience and align with the artistic vision defined by the Art Director and UI Art Lead.

• Build out the motion design pipeline in engine, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and responsiveness across platforms. 

• Work closely with the UI Art team and UX designers to ensure that motion design complements and enhances the overall user interface and user experience. 

• Work closely with engineering when technical challenges arise, or new tools and systems are required to achieve the vision.

• Work alongside both in-house artists and outsourced artists in an open and collaborative way to achieve the UI vision. 

• Continuously research and incorporate the latest trends, tools, and techniques in motion design. 

What you will bring: 

• Demonstrated ability to create visually stunning and engaging animations that enhance the overall player experience. 

• Ability to effectively communicate concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs. 

• Work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment; be flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity; contribute to shipping product team features on time and to quality. 

• Ability to tackle design challenges creatively and find innovative visual solutions to enhance the user experience and interface design. 

• Expertise in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. Experience animating in 3D is a plus.
