We are rapidly combining many world leading technologies and teams into the Fusion 360 family.

The role is in the Platform Organization within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division. This team defines and builds the software platform the Fusion 360 family of products is built upon. We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Software Developer to help us fulfill the mission of the organization which is to drive our new efforts in creating both Native and Web UI Toolkits, cross platform device independence and be pivotal to guide adoption successfully of these toolkits in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, secure, stable code for use in products and solutions for customers
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and debug code, as required
  • Test newly developed features to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Document new code and features developed, including changes to existing code

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other relevant engineering discipline
  • 3 years of experience as a Software Developer or similar role
  • Experience with object oriented programming languages such as C++
  • Client side web development skills: especially experience with Node/NPM, JavaScript, Typescript, and functional React components
  • Knowledge of source control systems, especially Git and GitHub
  • Skilled in communications in a hybrid/remote work environment
  • Ability to work in team environment as a team player and a self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with styled libraries and an interest in design
  • Experience with Agile software development practices
  • Experience with QT/QML
  • Familiar with cross-platform application development using Visual Studio development environment on Windows and XCode on the MacOS
  • Mobile and Browser development experience is a plus

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $90,700 and $156,530. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
