UI/UX Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced user experience design manager to join our team! As an UI-UX Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success and ensuring our organic and paid traffic become loyal customers. 

Your primary role will be to research and design usable interfaces, perform usability testing, and create prototypes to validate design concepts. The ideal candidate will use this information to help us create the best user experience possible for our website, mobile applications and lead gen activities. In addition, the user experience design manager will support our digital advertising creative in regard to dynamic, email, html5, and other advanced interactive ad development. 

Responsibilities 

Leverage a human-centered design process to deliver an easy-to-use user interface and user experience, that will optimize for lead generation, e-commerce sales, and client retention. 

• Research customers, competitors, and products
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
• Develop personas, scenarios, and user stories
• Illustrate design ideas with storyboards, process flows, or sitemaps.
• Work with stakeholders to identify requirements
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups
• Develop and implement usability testing
• Design for accessibility standards
• Create and maintain usability documentation
• Reduce website page load speed through best practices on code minification and design compression
• Work with developers to ensure product quality
• Work closely with product managers and marketing to maximize customer success
• Ensure products are tested with customers and validated against business goals

Job Qualifications and Skill Set

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, human-computer interaction, interaction design, or a related field
• 2+ Years’ experience with HTML and CSS
• Deep understanding and solid experience working with multiple CMS’s such as WordPress, HubSpot, Marketo, and Magento, etc.
• Working knowledge of UX design principles and trends
• Graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
• Wireframing/prototyping tools such as Balsamiq or Sketch
• UX design tools such as Figma, Axure, or InVision
• Experience with user testing and usability analysis

Office Environment:

This position must be located in either California, Idaho, or Texas. Employees located in Boise, ID; Orange County, CA or Dallas, TX are in a hybrid work environment: Scheduled in-office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with the ability to work remotely Thursday/Friday. The hybrid schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the company.

Physical 

• This is sedentary work which requires the following physical activities: reaching, sitting, lifting (≤25 pounds), finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.

Work Environment 

• Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
• The office work environment can be boisterous.
• Attire is business casual.

Salary

The salary for this position is $85k-$95k (Depending on Experience)

Travel

Hardly ever. (May be required to travel overnight – by car or air – to support the annual Summit event, sometimes working in excess of eight (8) hours/day.
