UI/UX Designer

As a UI/UX Designer at Redflag AI, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces. The essential duties and responsibilities for this role include:

• Design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces considering platform-specific best practices, various screen sizes, and accessibility standards
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation
• Develop UX designs utilizing existing Figma components
• Wireframe and possibly create prototypes to enhance user experience.
• Conduct UX research to inform design decisions.
• Work with Product Managers to translate business goals into actionable UX/UI requirements
• Create interactive prototypes for user testing
• Develop novel interactions to simplify complex flows and processes for users

Education and work experience requirements are:

• 3+ years of experience in designing web and mobile experiences with a focus on responsive design
• Tech startup experience preferred
• In-depth experience and expertise in Figma
• A portfolio showcasing your UX process, wireframes, and prototyping skills

To be considered for this position, you would need to meet, at a minimum, the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed here:

• Expert wireframing and prototyping abilities, including concept sketches, static wireframes, annotated wireframes, and prototypes
• Attention to detail and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles
• Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Impressive design, conceptual thinking, and typography skills
• Proven ability to articulate creative thinking
• Expertise in enterprise design and dashboards
• Familiarity with UI prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, InVision, etc

Extra Points for:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver work iteratively and on time
• Experience with usability testing

We always post our base salary range on our job openings, regardless of if it is required by state and local laws, as well as discuss candidates' salary expectations during our initial interview. This helps us put pay equity across our organization top of mind during the hiring process. Base salary is only part of your total compensation and rewards package, this role is eligible for a new hire equity grant in the form of stock options and a bonus plan.
Base salary range: $90-120k DOE
